In ancient times, along the great Nile, the people grew strong, nourished by its rich waters and nourished by its blessings. As the people flourished, so did their deities. People built monuments, performed sacrifices and worshiped their deities. In return, the deities bestowed upon them knowledge, tools and riches. But some deities were better than others. Those who received constant devotion grew powerful, glorious, and influential. They could reach out and change the world on whim. Those whose names no longer graced people's lips saw their forms alter, their footsteps waver and their powers diminish. The change had come in the land of the Nile. And with the change came war too. The deities had never been brotherly creatures to each other and at that moment, seeing their very existence threatened, they had gathered their forces, fielding their devotees and setting them on the march towards war. Eventually, when the sand has settled, the blood will have dried and the winds will have turned into light breezes, only one deity will emerge triumphant in this new era of monotheism. Who will be?
