Orochimaru approaches Tsunade, the only person likely to be able to restore the use of his arms. In exchange for healing, she promises her old partner to bring her boyfriend and little brother back to life, who had died in the war thirty years earlier. Tsunade, even knowing that Orochimaru is guilty of killing the third hokage and that he intends to destroy the Leaf Village, is shocked by the possibility of having loved ones back, and begins to reflect on the proposal.
