Kagome is a middle school student whose family runs a Shinto shrine. The day of his fifteenth birthday is suddenly attacked by a terrible demon that sucks it inside a well, catapulting it back in the time of several centuries, until the Sengoku era. In an effort to escape, the girl seeks refuge in a forest, and there she comes across a charming half-demon with long white hair sealed in a magical sleep. Resurrected by Kagome, Inuyasha recognizes in her the reincarnation of the priestess Kikyo, guardian of the precious Sphere of the Four Spirits...
